"A thrilling speed battle between air, land and water took place near Huntingdon yesterday. Mr J.W. Whillan, the famous motor boat racing expert, in his speed boat and young Mr de Havilland, the famous airman in his machine raced against the L.N.E.R. expresses over a distance of three miles where the track runs beside the River Ouse. The trains, which travel at 80 m.p.h. at this point invariably led owing to the difficulties in navigation experienced by the aeroplane and the speed boat."

Was that speedboat powered by a British Anzani engine? Only caught a glimpse of it. Maybe the same basic lump as in a Puss Moth?
