im putting a new floor in my norman 23,are the ribs,or raised bits the fixing points,or am i better off gluing some ply pads down,then fixing to them,

Mines not fixed to the ribs but to separate wooden blocks alongside the ribs.
My floor is curved as the shape of the hull.
As the floor is tight fitting it`s screwed down in few places and it looks pretty original.
