We recently cruised up and down 'Narrowboat Alley 'the Trent and Mersey form Sawley to Fradley with some hair raising experiences.Would anyone in the area be interested in a convoy next year to prove our 'plastic' boats to which they refer have as much right to cruise no matter where !
We only met 3 cruisers that week as opposed to god knows how many narrowboats everyone other one being a hire boat say no more !!

Hi Folks,
Adi just sent you an email have to postpone until at least June fallen and ended up with a cast on my left arm so boating is not really good can't take control or jump off for mooring/locks etc.Hopefully the waters and weather will be calmer then, hope people will still be able to make it. Will keep folks updated

Be nice for some confirmations for Den - Nothing worse than waiting for folks to turn up........ & they dont arrive ..... (   )
At least six 20-23' boats would be nice (A lockfull)

As an ex 'Conquest' owner, now with a Viking 23 and happy to attend. Would anybody object if I posted the gist of this to the 'Viking Owners' website to see if we can increase numbers? Or, do you want to keep it 'Norman'?

Hi Folks thinking of the weekend 19th /20th May not sure about gathering Friday night with an early Saturday start or some heading of Friday to secure moorings depends on numbers.

We would be interested in the cruise if the timings right - It's pretty much the end of the season for us as were on the Soar. Also its too cold for Chez to spend the night aboard !
We always enjoy putting 'Sewer Tubes' in their place on the T&M - Just tell em that without cruisers most of the waterways would have been remanded !

Hi Ollie,
When you say examiner do you mean safety cert ? My other half is gas safe qualified for boats as well if ever needed ! Hope the engine wasn't damaged ? We are over on E pier backed on to I presume is D, but 2nd from end so not hemmed in.

I'm on C Jetty. Been clouted in the outboard just the once by a nb off of 'B' but couldn't prove who it was! I'm the friendly examiner on there LOL!
