Posted - 17 Aug 2011 : 01:24:54 Dear friends,
I am restoring an old Norman 17 in Sligo, Northwest Ireland on the shores of beautiful Loigh Arrow where I live. Since April I have been documenting, photographing and filming my experiences and have created a large and active thread. I will post update links here as and when I finish them and I hope some of you might find the thread of interest or fun.
The active thread is here http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2056217528
Apologies for linking to another forum. It's of relevance and hopefully interest to members here cos its a Norman 17. There's no point posting stuff twice. If mods are unhappy with this, please feel free to delete and again my apologies.

Posted - 24 Aug 2011 : 23:48:47 OK, I just hate putting hours of work into writing updates and never knowing if anyone is looking. I'm not looking for people to respond everytime, just once so I know I'm not "talking to no one there".
Anyway, Day 46 and 47 are now up. Day 46 saw a bit of a disaster and was almost "the straw". Things have eased somewhat, and I'm back on course apart from weather constraints.
Day 46
Day 47
