Looks like I need to get Miss Isabelle (Norman 24) out of the water for a few weeks to attend to a few matters including replacing the seacock for the engine cooling inlet.

Anybody know of a cheap place where I can get her lifted and where I can work on her ashore? The big marinas want a fortune.

She's currently moored near Old Windsor on the Thames.

Thanks,

Brian

can't say I've noticed the marina but I'll take a look this weekend.

You might also try Harefield Marina on The Grand Union. One days sailing from the Thames and a short drive by road from Windsor. Might be worth considering if the boat is going to be out for a while?

Have you tried the little Wryabury Marina just down from Saxon Moorings near Old Windsor? Looks like a smaller more "competitve" place that might be interested in helping?

Regards

None of them are cheap but you could try Chertsey Meads Marine about a mile below Chertsey Bridge to stbd going downstream.

They don't charge Penton Hook prices!

The cost of boating is insignificant compared to costs of a young wife and two teenage kids!
