The Tidal is Great , but not for the faint hearted ! I would like to do again but in our 22, although the skippers of the commercial craft dont seem to be as kind when passing cruisers !

Stick a 50HP on the back & enjoy it in style !

john ms right the posts are left over from henley regatta, the lane the boats are going up is the lane for the rowers to race, the music festival was on while we were there, they also have an 80s rewind festival just a bit further up in august, am working towards the tidal stretch watch this space. The thames is great plenty of history and some lovely secluded moorings.

Fantastic - Reminds me of our trip last yr ! Those posts were'nt there at Henley when were there if I remember correctly.

Deano - No excuse for you to not to come in up the Thames Estuary , stop wasting that big old craft running in between pubs on the Ouse !

Craig - You've got this to look forward too if you pluck up the courage...

AAAAAGGGGHHHH - I need to go back there now.......

Fantastic... the more I see of the Thames, the more I want to move the boat down there for a summer.

What's going on with the white posts and the submerged boards???
