ERAN

Make: Norman

Model: Norman 23

Engine: 10HP Outboard (Petrol)

I bought ERAN in 2018. Looking around eBay I saw the boat for sale by auction with a couple of hours to go. I didn't bid as I wouldn't buy a boat without actually having seen it first. The auction ended and I thought that was the end of my interest in ERAN. About a week later, I saw that the boat had been re-listed due to the winning bidder not having made any contact with the seller. Once again, the end of the auction was close. The boat was in a marina not too far from my home, so I sent the seller a message, telling him that if he was let down by a second auction-winner, I'd like to have a look at the boat, and would tell him there and then whether or not I wanted to buy it. If I didn't, he would have lost just a day or two before re-listing it yet again. I don't know what the chances are of two auctions ending with no contact from the winning bidders, but that's exactly what happened. The auction ended on a Friday, and on Sunday I was invited to go and look at the boat. I liked what I saw and bought it.
