COMMENTS

Our first venture into boating, bought privately for £1,900 in Shepperton, Middlesex.  We are in the process of doing her up a little.  A new canopy has been fitted along with front windscreens.  Inside a new water tank is being fitted along with associated plumbing and new floor boards in the rear (the old ones had rotted through).  The pull start on the engine has had to be replaced and I am putting on new navigation lights, I can't get originals but have got nice looking replacements.  New cleats have been bought for the stern.  There are holes everywhere where the driller killer has rampaged over the years!  These will be filled in over time.  From there we will be cleaning up the interior and making her homely.
She is now moored up on the Chelmer and Blackwater Navigation at Paper Mill lock near Little Baddow (Not far from Chelmsford)
It has been a bigger project than we previously thought but it has been enjoyable (well most of the time!!)
